I envy my husband who has a knack for photographing landscapes. My photographic eye focuses in on the details and captures life in still moments. Today's blog post shares some of the recent photos I've been posting to Facebook.
Pictured here is one of my first pottery bowls, the yummy glaze is Burton's Yellow. This summer my husband and I have been taking a Basic Wheel Throwing class at the NH Institute of Art.
Now how cool is this? We are eating cherries from a bowl my husband made.
I'm quite taken with the shadows in this shot. The cup and vase are pieces that our pottery instructor made in a demo and gave to us.
It was my birthday this week! I took some of the flowers and arranged them in one of my favorite vases.
We have a dozen or so pottery pieces in the kiln as I type this. If all goes well, I'll have some new subjects to photograph!
