Yesterday I stopped by 122 Main Street to check out the submissions for the Minor Threat Pop Up Gallery.
As I arrived I met Gus, a 14-year old student who will be attending Proctor Academy this fall. Here he is with artist and volunteer, Kathy Tangney. He is holding up one of the photographs he took as part of a photo essay he submitted with his application to attend Proctor Academy.

It was great to see so many young people with their artwork. Meet Mitch who is a student at Keene State College.
There are hundreds of works of art that will be for sale ranging in price from under $100 to over $1000.
The United States License Plate Map by Molly Fredyma was one of the first pieces to get hung.
Here is a mixed media piece titled, January Fourteenth by Ryan John Lefebvre.
Please be Seated by Judy Palfey.
I was delighted to see one of my favorite artists, Don Desmarais's work. He has three mixed media pieces including this one which is part of his tarot series.
If you are wondering what I submitted, here is a peek. I brought in a sampling of work.

Saturday, August 27th from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
I hope to see you at 122 Main Street, Concord NH.
