True North Arts Fairy Godmother Crown

There is a maker of magic and tender of wishes in the land of True North Arts. Pictured above is her crown. This is a very magical crown for you see when you put it on, *YOU* become the fairy godmother. I know many of us grew up wishing a visit from our fairy godmother who would turn our shabby dresses into beautiful gowns and the pumpkins in our patches into lovely carriages bringing us to our perfect prince.

When you put on this magical crown your heart will begin to flutter. It is hard to miss the sound of it. In fact, you will find that when you follow your heart, you find your own true north.

The forest of wishes is where dreams grow. The bearer of the crown can see the wishes in the forest. This is important for the maker of magic how else would she know how to tend to those wishes and make dreams come true?

Now I'm sure you are curious to see the back of this crown.

A bouquet of white roses line the back and a lovely blue ribbon secures the crown in place.

Tiara for a Directory Diva

What do you give your closest colleague when she celebrates her 20th work anniversary? We laugh very hard every day, shake our heads at the same stories, and work in tandem on many projects. I'm grateful for her attention to detail and her work on a couple of directories. She is so good at keeping up with the minutiae. I feel so lucky to be paired up with someone who cares about the quality of her work. I often call her the directory diva and thought on this special occasion a tiara was in order. I raided the scrabble set and pulled out my hot glue gun to embellish a tiara purchased from iParty. The tiles were colored using metallic markers. She was so delighted. And we discovered something, she has tiara hair - that's right, her hair style works so well for this tiara!

Crowns for an Ice Princess and her mother

What do you wear when having breakfast with royalty? My good friend and colleague recently planned a trip to Disney and breakfast with Cinderella was on the itinerary. When she mentioned that she wanted crowns I told her that I knew exactly who could make them - Collage Diva!

They wanted the Ice Princess look since they were traveling from New England. Bling was on the wish list with a snowy white and icy color scheme.

These tiaras were made using a basic tiara purchased from iParty and embellished with a variety of fun things from a local store that caters to florists.

The tiaras were a hit! I was so delighted to hear the stories of their Disney adventures. I picked up some more supplies to make more tiaras in different colors.
