I'm often asked how it is that I'm so productive. I would say two things help me to stay on track: I am a list person. If I write down my to-do's, it helps me to stay focused on what I want to get done. Secondly, I check-in regularly. This week in my journal I pulled out some colorful ballpoint pens and doodled away each day as I checked-in on how things went in February, where I'm at today, and what I need to get done.
I took some time to reflect back on the month of February and answered the question, "How would you rate February?"
In this square I responded to the prompt: "Who or what are you grateful for this past month?"
Each week I pull a Virtues Card. The word and message are a focal point for my week. You don't have to buy the cards to do a "Virtues Pick." Visit www.virtuesproject.org and you can pick your cards virtually.
Next I doodled the next two squares leaving room for journal writing. Here I took a few notes from listening to this interview with Marie Forleo and Tony Robbins. SEE VIDEO
This square was the perfect place to note a BIG milestone: 2,000 likes on Facebook! I'm so happy with how the 100 Mandalas Challenge has grown since it launched just last October. Yeah!!! JOIN US HERE.
This journal space gave me a place to jot down my to-do's.
I was unplugged for most of Saturday and having a blast assembling and stuffing these envelopes that I designed for my upcoming retreat.
I designed this mandala for a guest blog post over on www.createmixedmedia.com website. I show step-by-step how to create a mandala using a grid. See how easy it is to create symmetrical mandalas over HERE.
Here are some prompts to review the previous month:
- From 1-10 how do you feel overall about this past month?
- Describe the most memorable part of this month.
- What were the three biggest lessons you learned this month?
- Are you happy with how you spent your time this month? If not, what will you do differently this month?
- How are you different this past month versus the month before?
- Name three things you want to focus on in this coming month. Get specific.
Thank you for sharing this creative journey!
