On Sunday morning I woke up at 4:15 a.m. ready and eager to work on one of my creative projects. My husband was out the door by 6:30 a.m. for one of his paragliding adventures and didn't return home until the evening at 8:30 p.m. I had the day to myself and I happily worked on my True North Arts projects. I published the new dragonfly video (The Dragonfly's Message) and sent out my weekly newsletter. In between my design projects I puttered around my creative studio, cleaning and organizing. Oh how I loved the day and I imagined that it was a "work day." You see I work full-time clocking into an office job and in my spare time I work on building my creative business. Yesterday for example, I was up early to get my daily blog post published and then came home and worked until 9 p.m. on a new project, a publication I'm designing to launch in the fall. I often think, "Look at how much I get done now. Imagine what I could do if I was working on this full time."
For Wishcasting Wednesday today, Jamie Ridler asks, "What do you wish to wake up to?"
I wish to have more days like Sunday where I wake up inspired to create and have the time to enjoy it. I want to wake up to my own schedule - if I'm inspired at 4 a.m. to create then that is when my day starts. I wish to wake up to work that speaks to my soul and I get divinely compensated for it.
My watchword for today is TRUST and my affirmation is, "I am Divinely guided to live my life's purpose." It does feel like the pieces are finally falling into place, even if I can't see them. I'm trusting that my hard work and passion are preparing me for the next step. I keep showing up and I'm loving everything that I'm doing.
How about you? What do you wish to wake up to?
