My new keychain magically appeared yesterday. I'm always surprised and chuffed when things that I've been desiring manifest in my life.
Most recently I've been needing a keychain. I had taken the little "fab" key for the office off of my key ring. My husband has been taking my keys lately and I've needed my fab. I was carefully tucking it into my wallet, always mindful not to lose it. A couple of times I thought and only once said out loud to my husband, "I need a keychain." It was a fact, not really a wish. What I did wish was no ordinary keychain, I wanted something unique and interesting, maybe handmade.
Just yesterday as I was arriving at work and pulling out my fab I thought again, "I need a keychain." It wasn't 5 minutes later when I was sitting at my desk when a co-worker popped her head into my office. She said, "I have something for you. I'll be right back." When she came back, she had a keychain that she received as a wedding favor. Her cousin's son married a Turkish woman and they presented their guests with these tallismans to ward off evil. "I saw this Kathryn and I thought of you." When I pulled out my fab and told her just moments earlier that I was thinking how I needed a key chain, we both burst out in laughter.
I just love it when this happens - just the right person, event, or message crosses my path. It happens a lot for me. I believe the key to manifesting our dreams is to be open for it.
How about you? What have you manifested recently?
In addition to manifesting little things like the perfect keychain, I've manifested some pretty big changes in my life including getting to a healthy weight, finding the love of my life, and living with more joy each day. I share what I've learned about manifesting our BIG dreams in my online class, The Journey of the Heart Journal. It is a 6 week class that begins in September.
