Oh my gosh Kathryn, how beautiful of a message from your mother! That little box is full of treasures and really have such deep messages. Hugs to you and Fernando. I am thankful he is ok! And thus you are ok!

Carol Steinberg

Well, it's easy to see who you take after, Kathryn...What a magical mom!

Paula - Buenos Aires

What a delightful treasure chest! Now I want to make one for my girl. :)
Good to know Fernando is feeling better.

Kathryn, thank you for sharing this wonderful gift. I think I need to make this for my beautiful daughter, as well. Your Mom must have been a clever lady!
So glad to hear that your husband is strong and healthy. I know that the experience of bringing your spouse to the ER can be so distressing. I have had this same event happen a couple of times with my husband. It left me feeling so lost. Just give him lots of love and cuddles.
Janet xoxo

Thank you for sharing this amazing gift your mom gave you. Like Paula, this makes me want to make one for each of my children with special messages from me to comfort them whether I am near or far (physically) because it will remind them that my spirit will always be with them. I know your mom is just the same for you. I'm glad Fernado is ok, too! Hugs to you both.

Dearest Kathryn,

I hope your hubby is on the road to recovery and wishing him best of health always.

Thank you for sharing such a powerful post with all of us and what a great treasure. It is very 'emotional' to read because I can understand in our adversity, it is always helpful to find comfort.

Your Mom has also given all of us an idea & inspiration to start a chest for our love ones too.

Take care and all the very best :D

Very inspiring. I can't wait to make a box for my son.

I am so sorry you had to go through that but happy to hear Fernando is well! That box is amazing. Your mom must have been one very special lady. It truly is a treasure box.

WhAt a lovely post - your Mom's Treasure box is indeed a treasure, and demonstrates what a lovely person she must have been! So glad all is well, I have been enjoying your blog!
