I've been juicing now for 1-1/2 months and I've been thinking about this post for some time. I'm enamored with the colors of the different fruits and vegetables and have been dying to play. On Sunday, Fernando and I did just that we played in the kitchen. We pulled out all sorts of yummy goodness that we had in the fridge and juiced each thing separately to create the palette you see above. Be sure to click on the image for a closer look.
I know you want an even closer look at the beets and purple cabbage.
Fernando blended up a green apple along with a few pears that had brown skins. You'll see that in the center of this shot. We tend to sweeten our juices with them instead of other fruits as they have a low glycemic index.
What color do you think we will get when we mix it all together?
The beets really held their color. Look at how vibrant this juice is. I have to tell you, it was soooo delicious. My body just soaked it up. This pitcher was an extra huge batch. We don't normally juice this much in one sitting.
If you are interested in learning more about the juicer that I'm using check it out HERE.
I hope you have a juicy day!

That surprised me. I would have thought it would have been a little muddier too. Cheers!

I love these colours what a fun idea! I also love juicing but am beginning to begrudge throwing all that lovely fibre away so ahve been blending smoothies with the friut and veg so nothing gets thrown away. No so pretty though
