I can't believe that today I start the third and final week of the 21-day cleanse. At the end of each week, I decided to celebrate. Friday night I was craving hard to sink my teeth in a pizza. I was a good girl and ate my soup instead. The next morning I felt great that I didn't cave.
Fernando and I decided to head over to Meena's Kitchen, a vegetarian Indian restaurant in Nashua. Pictured above is my plate with a very long Masala Dosa. The crepe is made from lentils and sour dough and is gluten free. The filling was a curried potato and served with chutney. It was heavenly! Be sure to check Meena's Kitchen out if you are near Southern NH. The food is fabulous!
After lunch we drove over to Peterborough, NH to the Mariposa Multicultural Museum. It is a delightful spot to take children and the young of heart where they have a number of hands-on things to do. We lingered a bit around the puppets.
They remind me of the collection I had for my son when he was young.
I've always had a thing for marionettes. My son had a few of them too and admitted recently that he found them to be scary.
On the third level are instruments from all over the world that you can play. We had fun with their colletion of beautiful drums.
7 days left and counting!
Many thanks for those of you who are following the journey here and on Facebook and leaving encouraging words. I do feel a bit of accountability to stay on course.
Namaste,
Kathryn Costa, Collage Diva
