Yesterday Mr. Wonderful and I spent the day at Morningside a flight park in Charlestown, NH.
It is a great place to learn how to hang glide and paraglide.
Check out the size of this wing! It is extra large to accomodate two people.
Here I am just after Mr. Wonderful tucked me into a helmet.
This was my first time flying.
I wasn't nervous at all! Perhaps because I knew I was with an expert pilot.
Some people who I just met were teasing me that I didn't need to marry an instructor to learn how to paraglide.
Here is our friend Alex. It was great to have so many people there to witness the big day.
We are getting so close to launching.
We run off the mountain and catch the air.
It is an incredible experience. I've always thought of myself as afraid of heights. In talking about this with Mr. Wonderful, I've come to realize that what I'm afraid of is not the height but in falling.
Landing is smooth and easy. It was soooooo much fun and I look forward to our next flight together.
At the top of the mountain is a little rustic cabin they call the castle. We rented it for the evening.
It really made it a lovely experience to not have to drive home after a full day.
This is Mr. Wonderful's favorite photo of the day. This one is for him!
I snuck a photo of Mr. Wonderful. He isn't crazy about me taking his picture.
Check out the view from the castle. Too bad I didn't have a shot of the evening sky, it was incredible. I was so happy we spent the night.
If you have any desire to fly, be certain to check out Morningside. In addition to paragliding and hang gliding lessons you can fly tandem on a hang glider, try zip line and kayak tours.

Woohoo...it must have been amazing to soar like that in the sky. I'm happy that you and Mr. Wonderful are enjoying being together and taking on new adventures.
