Wednesday was the "pink" full moon. When I stopped by Ikebana Flower to pick up flowers for the Petals 2 Paint show, I couldn't resist these pink peonies. I had planned on purchasing some flowers since I was going to miss class this week. I like practicing my skills any chance I can.
My next Ikebana assignment will be a freestyle arrangement in the Nagiere (tall vase) style. I am to work intuitively applying the skills that I know but focusing more on the material and less on the rules.
Peonies are not only in season right now but reflect the opening up after a long winter. I've been evaluating my own dreams and focusing on taking them from dreaming to doing. I recently started a "dream inventory" where I've brainstormed a list of ideas. I have so many that fill several columns in my journal. As I look at these peonies, they remind me of the layers found within my dream inventory.
On Wednesday, Jamie Ridler posed a great question for Wishcasting Wednesday. She asks, "What are you wishing to invest in?" In the last couple of weeks, I have been participating in SARK's Dream Boogie where the focus is on from dreaming to doing. For 8 weeks I'm investing time in my dreams and taking actions to help me to realize those dreams. It is a great feeling to have a plan and direction. My 5-year plan is getting clearer and clearer.
Under this pink full moon, what are you dreaming? What are you willing to invest in?
