Today is the last day of Art Every Day Month. My goal was to increase my creativity, design something new and blog each day. It is time to celebrate! I've actually treated myself along the way. If you've been following my blog you'll see that I had a fabulous girl's getaway in Boston. On Saturday I enjoyed a massage and artist date. But my biggest treat came in the mail today -- a macro lens for my camera. I'm so giddy! I've wanted a macro lens for over twenty years. In the last year I've been drooling over the beautiful photos in Artful Blogging. I was delighted to find the cost of a macro lens was within my reach. Tonight I took a couple of photos of my art journal pages with my new lens. It is so much fun! My next treat is a play date this Sunday with my good friend Claudia. We are going to Portsmouth, NH with cameras in hand. I'll be certain to bring my new macro lens to capture the details of our day.

When you've reached a goal, how do you celebrate?
Many thanks to Leah at Creative Every Day for hosting this great challenge.
